Every now and again I see someone lamenting about bad service times on Telecom's Facebook page. These days, it's a lot easier for the telcos to make some changes withn hours, or less, after a phone call or a visit to a web site. We can be thankful that we don't have to go down to our local Post Office, fill out some paperwork, and have to wait a week or more for the changes to happen.
Please remember to update your address book with up-to-date contact informaiton: our email system is set to throw a hissy fit if you send an email to our xtra.co.nz email address or one of our old Yahoo email addresses.
I am disgusted that Telecom NZ seems to be sticking with Yahoo, even after many Telecom NZ customers have experienced serious problems over the last year or so. To compound matters, British Telecom customers have apparently experienced similar problems.
If you are a user of an email account that has any connection with Yahoo, either directly or through your ISP, you will need to register on our list of safe senders (see the link near the top of the page), otherwise your email to us is likely to be returned as undeliverable.
Whatever your opinion of the religious observances that happen around this time of year, Anne and Richard wish you a happy and blessed Easter.
